Well, it’s New Year’s Eve, what do you expect? It’s not the most structured show of all time… Instead, it’s best of 2006 and tips for 2007, plus the Demo Clash (Medicine And Duty and Blessed Are The Average) and a good helping of Champagne… Another corker, in which we give away free tickets to see Johnny Truant and 12 Stone Toddler… Hear Resident’s selected gig (New Young Pony Club at Audio), album (TV On The Radio) and single (Linear)… introduce Turning Green to the demo clash, to fight The Strained Assembly… and generally make merry with a stack of pre-releases.

Treats galore as Anna and Marcus look back over thehighlights of the year – plus Resident’s reccomended single (Good Shoes), gig (remembering Low at the Old Market) and album (A Hawk And A Hacksaw). Also, consumed by festive spirit, we give away copies of the new NME album, with Anna possibly climbing down your chimnrey to deliver them – if you leave her a glass of sherry, that is… So… Your benevolent hosts give away a pair of tickets for both Dinosaur Jr and The Gift at Concorde 2… bring you Resident’s recommended album (Alexander Tucker), single (the Low Miffs) and gig (Bat For Lashes @ St Georges Church)… interview Trevor from Concorde 2 about the forthcoming Myclub event… and set The Sea Will Decide against The Strained Assembly in the demo clash. By jove, what a show.

It’s the Totally Wired Christmas party, kids, and you’re all invited… the Poppycocks and Peggy Sue & The Pirates, two of our favourite Brighton bands, join us in the studio to don paper hats and throw sprouts at each other. And we also give away tickets for The Damned at the Concorde 2 and hear Resident’s gig (Mark Eitzel at SAC), single (Mr Warmsley) and album (My Latest Novel – not new, true, but included as one of Resident’s albums of the year). Presenting: an interview with Nina Nastasia… ticket giveaways for Brian Jonestown Massacre and Captain… Resident’s recommended album (Seasick Steve), single (Prinzhorn), classis (Modern Lovers) and gig (The Aliens)… and it’s The Indelicates vs The Sea Will Decide in the demo clash.
