Celebricide
Artrocker have likened them to Mclusky backing Jarvis Cocker. An acid-tongued wit underpinned by cool sonics with a nod towards The Birthday Party, Lou Reed, Joy Division, Sonic Youth and Suicide. Described by Nick Cave as "very very cool."

Under a kebab shop in Hove, Clearlake were born. The band have been likened to Syd Barret fronting The Smiths and My Bloody Valentine playing Randy Newman with Jason's poignant melodies and sharply observed lyrics framed by rich expressive music. Proced by Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins) with releases on Domino records.
