What are
the 'Metway Sessions' ? |

The Metway Sessions open up Brighton's top recording studio
to unsigned bands and musicians with the chance to record
new music and then promote it on the radio, the Internet,
on CD and in front of a live audience.
It begins with a large pile of demo tapes and CDs and some
serious drinking by people from Metway Studios, alt music
radio show totallywired, Juice 107.2 and Lout Promotions.
Every month, four acts are offered a unique opportunity to
fast-track into the music industry, with free recording, free
promotion, free airplay, free webspace and much more.
When you've got a session, what actually happens?
First of all you'll spend a day in Metway Studios creating
a professional recording of three of your best tracks.
Next you could be invited on to Juice 107.2's 'totallywired'
for a interview and first broadcast of your session.
The tracks will then be streamed from totallywired's website.
There'll also be industry promotion in the weeks before to
let them know when you're going to be on.
